BIOGRAPHY

One of 6 siblings, including 3 brothers and 2 sisters, Daniel Stockford was the second oldest child of Lynne Cowley - Owen

 

He was an uncle to 12 and a great uncle to 6.  Danny was a huge life loving father and husband, married to the lovely Lorraine with 2 children of his own Lois and Harry. 

 

Danny had immense love for all his family and a very positive outlook on life in general.  He grew up in Ewell where he had many friends and was known for his love of his eclectic taste in music.

 

To say he was loud and proud is an understatement. This was expressed through his many different colourful dress styles over the years.

 

Danny was an honest and fair man who provided well for his family. He was a grafter and understood that what you put in, is what you get out of life. As a way of sharing his beliefs, his feelings and frustrations, his love and laughter Danny expressed himself through poetry. We would like to share some of his poems with you here.
